1st question is how good are these over a 266 set up ??

2nd will they fit under speedline 1.9 gti wheels

3rd whats a good price to pay 2nd hand?

266 aint even in the same league!
Hs are far far better

cheers swampy just hating having no brakes at high speed and some have come up

although they have hispec on the braket there is no label on the fronts just a recess have checked the site and they look exactly the same

probably going to have to take a wheel off and use the template the tell you to make to check clearances

I would look to pay around £200-£300 depending on the condition of the pads and discs.

Mine fit with plenty of room under Superleggereas, and under some cheap 15's BRC Alloys. IIrc someone on here with a carbon bonnet and boot Mk1 in the rare blue colour had them under 205 gti's, not sure if he had spacers though.

1. not used 266s, but hispecs i prefered to a few other set ups ive run
2. No they wont fit unless you run spacers etc...
3. Depends on condition and whats included, they are expensive new £350 even is fair second hand.

new pads used discs braided lines 12mths old

chap says he has been using them under cyclones and s rims !! Iv made a template anyway and im gonna pull a wheel off and have a look tommorow :) worst case though 3mm spacers??

vts rimms can be used, but its with spacers.

iirc its 3/5mm.

braided lines are standard on all kits

I like my wheels Ryan lol ;) pluss money is tight atm as it is without 600+ for wheels and brakes

They look like mine but yours have 3 bolts on each side of them - mine have 2, and no writing on the front (old pictures):
