Better shocks will help control the suspension movement but I think I speak for most on the forum that generally no one at all has ever rated the raceland stuff. You might want to try higher poundage springs as well but as you suggest GAZ is a better solution all round. Quicker the better, your shell, especially shock towers won't like taking that beating for long and will soon go from flat to rounded.

you say this but my old slammed vtr never crashed or banged lowered 60mm on standard shocks for nearly a year...

uprated the shocks to bilstein b8's (widely regarded as some of the best shocks for a saxo), and it crashed and banged all the time, sometimes causing my fuel pump cut off switch to activate.

may have been a unique problem to my car, any other feedback?

He's not on standard suspension here, he is using the raceland coil over kit. They have very soft springs apparantly.

throw them in the bin and get a standard suspension leg setup. orrrr

rally design and get yourself some stiffer springs 200lbs ish
then go to ghost development and get some spring cups which allow you to use the raceland coilovers with the standard top bearings

its the shit design of the coilovers, its the spring coils clashing together which causes the bang
