80mm is not undriveable.
I drove a Corsa B that was down that low. The ride handling/comfort was shite and you couldnt turn a sharp corner properly.
Why not go 60mm?

was going to say weve had cars over 100 down at front and you could drive them
not cheap to get the coilovers sorted thought as they were custom it worked out similar price to a kit but specced however you like

yeah mk1 golfs ect can go 100mm but not saxos,
i think 70mm max but 80 is a bit too sivere,
on 15" vts will scrape and probibly rip off you vt arch kit at the first corner?

It really depends on what suspension you will be using
If its good quality stuff itll be fine.
LEE_VTR1's old Saxo (search and read the progress thread) was lowered about 100mm on the front and it was fine, sure he had to take his time over speedbumps but there wasnt any massive issues
He was using Pugsport dampers with custom coilovers using over 200lb springs.
Where as if you're some cowboy who enjoys cutting springs to achieve a low ride then do expect the ride quality to be absolutely shocking
