hi all. was just thinking should i do my bumper strips gloss black or not? thanks

Yeh definitely. no doubt. Im colour coding my car atm. i think the strips look tacky as they are. They lack colour n shine. dull grey makes it look like cheap plastic. go for it.

I got a question for you. Ive just done half a strip so:

sanded it down first wit 120 then 800 then 1200. very very smooth
then 4 coat primer.
then with 1200 grit, made primer layer super smooth.
Now just sprayed my final coat of icelandic paint, but it has ran slighly so its not smooth. Am i ok to just sand it down gently to remove any ridges n that??
or will it not give a good finish after i spray on clear coat laquer?

From what iv seen saxos look great with the gloos black bump strips so i say yeh go for it!

erm if i was you i would sand it down so theres no ridges and that then spary it again then laquer it. i got a question for you now. i got a possi blue car tho so would you think gloss black would be ok?

yeh blue n gloss black good combo imo. what colour rims does it sit on?

its on vtr rims atm but i want them black as well

FisherVTS's Saxo is Wicked Red and has gloss black bumpers. Looks mint.

Yes deffo do it.I wanted mine gloss black but just put some lacquer on em instead they look great!. So gloss black will for deffenant look good.
