Alright guys,

Going to pick up a VTS on the weekend with the intention of turning it in to a track whore.

At the moment the suspension is all standard.

What I want to know is what will give me the best handling? I couldn't care less about looks :)

Obviously anti roll bars and strut brace will help keep the struts rigid and square. What I want to know is how much to lower by and by what method? coil-overs, springs, shocks and springs?

cheers,
matt

i dont know alot about this but i would say about 40mm would be good for track and i think springs and shocks would be the best but i may be wrong ? :y:

well it depends on how hard you want it what tyres you want to run how much you plan on using it ect

you could run the car standard tbh and have fun
or you could spend several thousand on coilovers all round with remote res shocks ect

tbh i would say start of with something cheapish lika na apex kit get all the bushes replaced with the stiffest you can to stop any movement in directions you dont want and then go from there

i run the apex kit on my vtr and it seems ratehr good (its not been on track yet though) and a make had a spax kit on his 106 that went very well as it was setup right

getting the car well balanced is the biggest issue tbh and thats why i would favour a stock kit for a start
