right! couple of questions i desperately need answering about lowering and torsion bars. from what i know. I believe adjusting the ride height of the torsion bar involves - removing the anti roll bar (and its end plate), releasing the torsion bar, releasing the shock absorber, setting the trailing arms to the required height then re-inserting everything. firstly, is this true? and secondly, how does the notching (wrong) method differ from the right way of doing it? i.e whats the difference between them. thanks

been covered a few times, yes thats correct, notches method involes knocking the trailing arm off, moving it up and getting it to fit where ever it does

in other words.. the trailing arm just gets knocked into a different place and the torsion bar and anti roll bar are not even removed? its just that this has happened to my saxo and im desperate to have it re-done properly. Is it a case of re-setting my trailing arms and starting the process again? thanks
