View Full Version : Help! Saxo buggered (She’s home now...)

OK Dudes - this is the situation...

Saxo starts shaking and juddering when idle and lost power the Thursday before last. Green Flag say its "the coil pack".

The garage on Friday have the car, and eventually (long story) fit the coil pack last Friday. It is STILL mis-firing, and they haven't a CLUE why. They mentioned the ECU....

Luckily for me, I had an RAC warranty that expired on Friday, but because the incident happened before then, it is covered.

Anyone have ANY ideas what it might be? Bird Flu? (Saxo version)

The first OBVIOUS finger of blame points to my Punto (Squeak) as every car problem happens when they have been parked together. The punto a/c buggered up when they were parked together, then this happened when they were last parked together....The Punto HATES the Saxo LOL smileys/smiley9.gif

SHIT DUDE!

I'm not gonna go through what else it could be that's causing it to misfire cos any decent garage would check all I'd put anyway.

Hope you get it sorted soon though mate!

Try the water temp sensor (great plug on the engine). Ofter fails and cheap to replace.
