Getting some 205 gti wheels and read that they need spacing on the rear so bought some 20mm sparco spacers, will they be enough for the rear?does the front need spacing??

Cheers

would look sillly if you just did the back 20mm does make the wheels sit in the arch better as well :y:

ok so 20mm for the front aswell?

Now ive read the 205 wheels require longer bolts, so with me popping spacers on too am i going to need even longer bolts?

shudnt look too bad, the front wheels are sat out further as standard on saxos i believe.

205 wheels should fit with standard vtr/s bolts i think. but with 20mm spacers yes your gona require 20mm longer bolts too.

the wheels shouldn;t need spacers unless u want them to sit out further

that is also true they are direct fit without needing spacers. :y:

yeah was told only the rears need spacing, going for a 60mm drop on the front maybe 80mm ish on the rear so i want them down and out if you know what i mean

205 GTI wheels have a 25 offset iirc, saxos have an offset of 15, so you will need 10mm spacers allround for them to be sitting properly, and yes you will also need longer bolts to compensate for the extra length

problem with getting an incorrect offset is the wheels can rub on your discs/drums etc ( might not even fit over them) and dont sit right in the arch.... making your handling worse, as you are slightly reducing the track width of your vehicle..... personally i wouldnt ever have my wheels with an incorrect offset
