Not to bad then mate - How often do you destroy a clutch. My mate has a Impreza Rallycar and clutches last quite long lol Im suprised at that aswell. They are not expensive ones either.

Clutches last well as clutches die through torque and being a 1600 mine is all about revs and peaky top end power so even std clutches last...im only changing it as its all going to be out....makes sense to.

Unlucky mate, not bad driving though :p.
I'll say it again though ;)....You need to start rallying in forests, its much more fun than tarmac rallying and more skillful :P. Thats when you can say 'I'm a rally driver' :D.

it's a matter of opinion i guess but unless you run in top 20 or so in the trees these days, it's just dodge the ruts and damage limitation for the car and give the fc a lot of entry money.

Oh yeah I completely agree with that bit. Its not so bad in the 1400 or 1600 classes but once you get into N2, B12, B13 and WR1 classes its nuts! As you say, after half of them have swept through the corners the ruts that appear are enormous. We went up to see the Cambrian rally last Saturday and by the end the stages are basically undriveable.
Hope the engine damage isn't too bad though and it gets back to be abused soon enough :y:;)

My mate was co-driving at the cambrian in a fiesta st and they crashed and he broke a few bones...not good....
Im sticking with tarmac while im in a FWD car as i find it more fun, pulling G's through corners feels good....if i ever get a RWD or 4WD then i may look at forest....
Engine at its worst possible damage doesnt bother me as the more i replace the newer it will all be haha and yes i will be abusing her again soon ;)
