Hi.

I've got a 2001 VTS with the white digital dials and a 3 plug ECU and am thinking of converting it to a single plug loom (to fit a remapped single plug ECU).

Will this work with the digital dials? Is it plug and play or do I need to change the interior loom too and resort to analouge dials?

Cheers.

You will need to change the interior loom as the MK1 and 2 connectors behind the passenger side headlight are different.

Its a weekends work tbh, getting a MK1 loom then pulling out your existing loom is a dash out job.

And the fuel pump connector needs the fuel tank dropping to get it off, unless like me you just cut the wires and solder them back on for the new loom.

Doh!

Hmm, how about wiring the single plug loom into the existing connector behind the headlight?

Or...some year 2000 VTS/GTi's came with single plug ECU and digital dials. Wonder if the engine loom from one of those would work?

Cheers!

You could have a go but that would be harder than changing the interior loom :)

Guide for a 106. Not sure how similar it is compared with the saxo's dials.

General idea is the same though.

Thing I don't understand is that if digital dials can be retro fitted to a single plug loom, why cant a single plug loom be retro fitted to digital dials.

Cheers for your input though guys! :)
