right i have just been on the phone to three different garages to try and get my piper system fitted CAT back so not illegal in anyway however the cat will be removed shortly...

all three garages have saked the car i reply saxo what exhuast i say after market all three have repiled ooooooowwwwwwwww sorry mate we dont touch any of that dogey parts have to go else where

excatley is not dodgey at all... one was a exhuast and tyre place and they said we dont touch any dodgey mods!!!

kwick fit dont touch anything aftermarket, think network q are the same, just find a small local garage to do it, i had mine fitted for £20 lol

tbh i wouldnt have a clue where to start and it something my parents dont no about but once it fitted opps i was unaware they fitted this while i had it serviced LOL

alot of garages around here will only fit what they supply...

The reason they wont fit it is usually

You get pulled - Tell the cops who fitted it they could "potentially" be in trouble if found out to be fitting exhausts etc that are for "off road use only" when they are fully aware you will be driving on the road leaving the garage. Got told this my a garage who had spoken to the police lol

They usually think of "fancy exhaust" to not fit properly lol

OR they just dont understand what you ask them

Thats the issues I have encountered in my time lol

just get a small local garage to do it. no big chain companys or anything. there always bloody expensive

Also ive worked in a garage and sometimes aftermarket parts (admittely cheap crap) dont fit properly and alot of garages just cant be dealing with the hassle

thats just my personal experience
