So I have been driving since April and I wrote my car off just over a week ago and after the insurance company looked at the car and asked me a few questions they are gonna pay out
I answered some of there questions like
What car was it :Citreon Saxo 1.1i Forte
How old is the car: X Reg (2000)
How many miles has it done: 77,000 Miles
How much did I pay for the car: I told them I paid £950 but I only paid £750
After all that they said they would pay me the the full £950 as I got a very good deal from it, so minus the excess £550 I get £400 back, not bad really.

Amazing, you mean the insurance company paid out as they should minus the excess...
Wow

yeah since the excess is £550 (£350 and £200 for a new driver) I get £400
I was gonna ask for more but I am really happy with £400 since I thought they would have only offered me £500 for it

just wait til you go to get your next insurance that £400 will pail into insignificance on your next premium, sorry but fact

You can buy it back at scrap value and part it.
Could make recoup some money from that too.

so you get £400 back... how much was the insurance for the year?
now you've got a claim to your name for the next years policy... say 'o hai' to killer insurance quotes!

So let me get this straight, you put a claim in for effectively £400 & your premiums will now be bumped for at least the next 3 years.
And you accepted their 1st offer.
Have i missed the punchline?
