Doesn't look bad, have you tried Machine Mart? I've got some good tools from there in the past

That sounds pretty good actually.
Most of their tools have a lifetime guarantee as well :-)

Iv had that set for 2 years, never had any problems with them, but its not the most exstensive toolbox, fine for just doing odd bits to your car or something though.

They arnt official Halfords tools, so dont come with the lifetime guarentee sadly, but still, for £50, you get what you pay for

Get their professional set or will probably just break, lifetime gurantee doesn't cover the ratchet mechanisms, just the handles ;)
Try find someone with a trade card too

I have that box.
If your doing little jobs now and then, then its fine.
If you work on your car alot i wouldn't bother with it.
The ratchets in that halfords toolbox are wank. After buying it both the ratchets broke. These days i use 'Franklin' tools. They're really good quality (imo) and not too cheap, not too expensive.

Also there is no "13mm or 15mm" deep sockets included, which come in handy working on a saxo.
I'd shop around first dude.

I can't comment on the professional set which Bickerton is talking about as i haven't owned one. Although.. One of my friends has that set and i haven't heard any bad words about it.

ive got the 150 piece halfords pro set, its great! has taken some real abuse from me, including jumping on the half in ratchet to get my hub nuts off. its better quality than the teng stuff i use at college.
ive got a trade card, can get the 150pc set for les than £100, if you're ever in blackpool i'll let you borrow my card lol

Halfords tools are shite, only good if your a mechanic every now and then.
I'd look further affield such as machine mart and independant shops for a good deal.

apart from mechanisms ie ratchet, but, if they did manage to break justpop the handle in a vice and hit it till it snaps, then go get a new one :D
