Owl or parrot?????

as above, may seem a bit random but i want a new pet and have narrowed it down to either????
owls are alot more work and parrots can talk so are more fun? both are expensive but i still think id rather the owl??? thoughts please!!

i have an amazon parrot its annoying at times as its quite loud, but it is really good fun when it talks and makes silly noises all i can say is do your re-search before making a choice!

have researched mate and had an af gray before hence i fancy a change???? and as of the horse they need slightly more space then i have but cheers for the helpful decision on owl or parrot ;)

i would go for a parrot. An african gray, or if you have the money a macaw :)

Owl, i used to look after one at work, they are very friendly, soft and when they fly its amazing because they are silent flyers so you cant hear anythin when they fly its quite eary but amazing at the same time :)

Now they are cool! i saw a Sparrow Hawk the other day catchin a sparrow in midflight! it was amazing!!! :geek:

i have two parrots a sun conure and a senegal, both very cute and very tame, the senegal is still a baby and is a good laugh the conurte we have had about ten years and its still fun, best pet about but people dont realise how much time you need with them to get them tame and talking plus they are hard work like a dog etc

Had a Barn Owl which was cool,
Parrots don't eat dead chicks... that's better than talking.
Parrots bite, and owls can sit on your arm
Parrots are common owls are not
