has anyone got two 15" subs in the boot of their saxo? or know of anyone that has?

i need to know if 2 of them would fit smileys/smiley17.gif its probably a tight squeeze id imagine!

depends on the sub, 15's generally require a much larger box to perform correctly and normally this would be to large to fit in the boot. You could just make small boxes and throw the 15's in but they will sound ranko

ask someone to give you the measure ments of a 15" box then get the tape measure out and measure it your self to see if it will fit! smileys/smiley17.gif

I'll get you the recommended box size for the subs when i get in, i'll also check if they are likely to fit into the boot of a saxo, but i'd imagine it to be a very tight squeeze

I've got a mate with a single 15" in his saxo's boot. It fits - just. But if it's any consolation, it sounds shit. As far as i knew, 15" where generally pretty crap...

15's in the correct sized box tuned correctly will be just as fast as a 10", its all down to enclosure size. So many people do not realise how important the correct enclosure is.

For example, a £100 sub will sound alot better in a custom made and tuned enclosure than a £600 sub in a random enclosure bought off a market stall.

Car audio is 30% equipment 70% installation. Power supply, wiring, box design etc are all VERY important factors.

mine is a ltd fully enclosed vibe 12" but if you replicate it and double it it should fit 2 nicely and look good.....

I got 15" speakers in the boot along with a load of other stuff (amps, powercap etc) and the sound is quality. Check it out on the photo gallery section under the R.D. Audios install.
