Just got a fully working latop off a lad at work for around £15.
Only running 2000 but maybe able to get xp on there.
wanted it for web brousing in bed

Erm to be honest i havnt really checked, Pent 3, 19_mb of ram - Dont realy care of the spec, i have my main machine for that. Just want wireless network around the house

select " system " from the control pannel and you can find out the spec of the laptop .

doesnt appear to be within the OS but looks like there are plenty of programs out there taht would allow you to. Never really used 2000, went from 98se to XP so i thankfully missed the ME garbage
