how often should you clay?

iv got a kit now and just clayed the saxo today, do you just do it if and when you need to or best to keep ontop of it?

i thought it was every 6 months? otherwise its a waste of time as th contaminents dont build up that quickly?

by claying you are removing all the sealant and wax you have applied you have applied.

Claying is something you do before polishing etc and you should only polish once or twice a year really depending on how well you clean your car imo.

i last done mine about april time so i should really do it soon. i done it every time i washed my car, about once a month. guess that was a bit overkill.

whats the point? clay is slightly abbrasive. wont do your paint any favours.
