Well I think this clean will turn out pointless what with the terrible weather right now but here we go anyway:

Here is before pics:

Here is my process of my clean and stuff used:

- Rinsed the whole car.
- Snow foamed the car.
- Rinsed.
- Washed using the two bucket method with Autogleam Bodywork Shampoo.
- Rinsed off.
- Autogleam Alloy wheel cleaner on the wheels then rinsed.
- Autogleam Chammis to get the thick water off.
- Decided to use a trick I read somewhere I combined quick detailer in the drying process (It really works!) Along with a Meguirs Micro Fibre towel.
- I clayed the entire car not got pics of the clay but was pretty bad
- Use Autoglym SRP on the car
- Autoglym Gloss protection (Left on for approx 40mins then buffed off)
- I used SRP on the VTS wheels took loads of the scratches out of them and brake dust that was caked on (Jimbo will be pleased).
- Then I used 2 coats of Poorboys wheel sealant on them.
- Meguirs Hot tyre shine
- Autoglym Bumper care

Think I will tackle the engine bay tomorrow

Here are the finished pics. My camera doesn't take night pics very well....they always end up blury. Hope you like my efforts anyway.

Snow foamed up:

Hope you like my efforts. Keep a look out for my progress thread in the next 3 weeks I've got some new wheels that some people may be interested in since I don't think I've seen them on this site yet.

It's only on the very early GTI's that come with the rub strips. If you remove them you are left with holes that need welding up and smoothed over. I prefer GTI's with them. Especially on Cherry Red.

Yeah that is on my list.

Thanks mate, No originally the car has had a full respray.
