Was ment to be on a course today, Last night was on the source watching the footie looking forward to today.

Came into work and the boss i dont get on with tells me 15mins before it starts that "i am not allowed to go because we are understaffed" WTF? its like this every time she books us a course to do. So now means i will have to wait for the course to come around again before i can get promoted and then i will need to wait for some more course's. This job really fucks me off so much. Yes we are understaff even half the people on the forum now that.

Kind Regards

Leckie, why do you alway seem to post on here how much you hate your
job?

I see no point in these post. If you are unhappy with your job, then quit!
You are always going on about how much you hate it, yet when people
tell you to quit and get a new job you say you can't be bother. It can't be
that bad if your still work there and can't be bothered to change jobs!

Danny - have you serisouly looked for another job?

Youve always got to remember that in everything yo udo in life, you ALWAYS have a choice. If you like your current place and money, etc but cant seem to work with the people around you then look for a new job, or work things out.

There are lots of jobs around. Yes, it's a hassle finding one sometimes that suits you, but if your current job is REALLY getting you down, then moving on is the best option.

Finding a job whilst you're already employed is the best way of doing it, as there is less pressure on - and you shouldnt find yourself accepting a job you dont want, because you need start earning again.

You seem to think finding a same/better paying job will be super-hard... but this isnt always the way. If you can sell yourself in the right way and have good skills in the field you are trained/working, then you just need to find an opportunity to sell yourself.

Stop treading water and start looking!

This might have the knock on effect of making you realise that the grass isn;t always greener on the other side of the fence... you may decide you like your job again - then everyone's a winner smileys/smiley17.gif

When my brother left school he went to lucas & they trained him up, he was there from 16 years of age up to 25, where they had to lay him off as they were going down hill.

He got a pay out of £15k, he moved to a semi-detatched house, bought a 4x4 & needed a higher paid job instantly.

He started a job over your way, he took a drop in wages & could only just about afford the mortgage, he was there for a month before he put in his notice, he now works at arla & is on more money then he was being paid at lucas.

Iam not sure where arla is in yorkshire, but i know he has atleast a 30 minute travel to work, then the same back.

Why dont you hand your notice in, find a job that has a slight dip in wages & then just look around for a job you want with the salary you want.

Take advise from us all, if your work place is fucking you off then fuck them off by leaving, it will be there loss at the end of the day.
