Double standards for boss

Iam wetting my self with laughter. The boss of the IT section here goes mental at people when they dont backup onto the network incase their hard drive packs up.

I get a job in this morning for her pc that the hard drive is knackered. Doesnt matter I thought, can just put a new one in because she of all people will back up.

Speack to her as I start doing it. "oh, can you try and save the data from it, there is loads on there that I havent backed up". She is screwered. Nothing coming off that hard drive.

Makes me happy because I dont like her, lol.

yer it makes me laugh. Is it gone. Yes because you havent saved it onto the hard drive. Ok. Next thing they are on the phone to the boss saying we need it off and we need the stuff from it.

I just say tuff, its gone, you didnt save it, you lost it. Its not my problem. Its gone forever, lol. smileys/smiley17.gif

I just say to people its gone, sorry nothing we can do, your going to have to start from scratch.

She has now come to me and said she has some pictures on there that she really wants and are important to her. They aint coming off though, lol.
