my car will soon be going in for the rear 1/4 panel respraying, this included abc Pillar,
i've been quoted £250 for it!, but thats the cheapest i can get in my area.

is that a good price or not ?

thats a good price yes, but will probably need the whole side of the car doing to get it to match, whats the colour of the car? If its silver it will definatly need the whole side doing as silver is the worst colour to match.

yeah silver mate, yeah the bloke said that he would need to blend it into the door, would that make sense to do?

and the body shop is good, good reputation.

Great price,but id be 'worrying' over the quality of the job if it was me.And the paintwork is something your going to see every single time you look at it...

He spent alot on a flawless respray.

That isn;t a bad price aslong as is a decent place as silver is an actual shit to try blend/match!

With paint jobs it depends how fussy you are and how good the bodyshop are. £250 sounds cheap, have you seen samples of there work??

I always have a good look around bodyshops etc before i try them, have a good look at the bake oven, how clean it etc etc


And as said silver is a hard one to match!

hi mate, yeah i've been round the body shop a few times, only briefly looked at the oven room, can't really tell if it's clean myself, i've only seen a few of their cars they've worked on, but can't really tell what to look for :/

i got a quote off another bodyshop for £300, but they done my dads car, and well, not a great job

yeah me niether! , funnily enough i got my cambelt done there ! i know the bloke now so might see if i can knock a bit off the price ;),

and yeah got a Quiksilver! V reg, black spoiler :) look out for that lol
