I'm picking my car up tomorrow from bodyshop after it's full re-spray, wanted to ask people in the know, are there any real no no's with regards initial cleaning??..

I'm sure i read/heard something about not claying the car for least month or 2.

Suggestions??

Cheers

dont clay or polish for atleast 1 month,

personally i didnt wax or even wash it for 2 weeks, give everything time to settle before you touch it mate.

no doubt people will disagree but some people dont know what the hell they are talking about.

yeah leave it for a week unless its been baked in an oven, try and keep out of the rain an use it as little as poss as paint will be at its softest. it will of hardened up nice after a week then give it a polish with a 'quality' polish like meguiar's, try www.meguiars.co.uk for some decent products and advice

when mine came back i left it for a month off the road and didnt clean it just to let the paint harden. tbh there wont b much need for claying untill youve actualy got bits of tar ect on the paint
