On a budget.

Who's on a strict budget This Xmas?

Is it just me or is anyone else sick of spending near on a small fortune each year?

I figured this year i'm earning more than I've done in my life, yet I have less disposable income than ever before

Looks like everyone is getting hand made cards this year!

This year I have even more people to buy for, damn my family expanding & me being so popular haha..

Seriously though, its hard, especially as this month I was supposed to put a bit away for xmas but I have £2 to my name untill payday!

i know exactly qwhat you mean.

i am an xmas person through and through. i sually go mad at xmas and spend loads, but with this credit crunch, my pay cut from work, and having to take a second full time job (yer, thats right, i work 2 full time jobs, one in the day and one at night! 85 hr weeks!) i cant afford to do anything this year...

xmas is cancelled.

i was the last person i thought would be a scrooge!

but... hey

Never understood why people feel they HAVE to spend money at christmas.

Presents are bollocks, it's all about being with family and friends and having a great time together.

the whole point of xmas for me is a mega xmas dinner, a few whiskeys, and maybe a cigar with the old man, and after we are all drunk getting my mum and dad drunkenly stoned... sheer giggles to be had there, watching your dad route through the kitchen looking for hula hoops coz he is on the munchies!

thats how xmas should be. but somehow its been turned in to an event where every one has to spend loads of money on presents that half the time people dont even want. PLus its a christian holiday, how many people who celebrate christmas go to church or even believe in god?

Im just looking forward to christmas dinner and a few lagers with the family. Goin to be a cheaper this year this year though, as I dont have a gf to buy for :y:

damn... do you have a sister? lol

i do admit i always got to church at midnight on xmas eve. its just part of xmas for me. i am not religious in the slightest, infact, i am the opposite, but its just good, gets you in the real spirit of xmas. plus drunken church is the funniest thing!

Plain A4, some glue and some ink from work ;) ! 20p Aldi pasta and then get your lads to do a few hand prints with the ink and stick some pasta twists on and even get them to write them for the authentic touch!

You put your feet up + They have a great time = WIN WIN

Stealing from work is wrong i do not condone it in anyway although boxes for packing thing to send items to fellow sax-p members dont count!

iJoke Stealing is bad you will go to hell!

Normally go out and spend a stupid ammount of money on family and friends and then go out and get ratted for about 4-5 days a week during december, but cant do that this year got less money than ever after earning more. Dont know how i do it lol. Haha. Sure my car steals money out of my account without me knowing it.
