Is it possible to play PSone games on the PS3?

Sounds a bit weird but ISS Pro Evolution 1 is a classic and i want to play it again :P

iirc my ps3 is the 80gb version if that makes any difference.

no they removed the backward compatability to bring price down the original ps3 can play them though..

nope thats not true you can play ps1 games on any ps3, it is only ps2 games which required one of the original backwards compatable ps3

Check the PS Store and also buy PS1 games if its not already mentioned..

ok i knew about ps2 games and just presumed the ps1 games would be the same.. since ive never tried to play a ps1 game on a ps3 i didnt know
