Bike problems!

Hey, I just bought an Aprilia Rs50, worked fine for a few days then all of a sudden it cut out on a round about.
took it to a garage and they said that i've blown the coil thing.
The guy said you'd be looking at: A new coil, a CDI unit, starter plate and a fly wheel (but they guy didn't sound like he knew too much).
Basically the spark plug has no spark anymore.
I really do like the bike, I paid 350 for it, but my mum's trying to convince me to sell it as it is and buy one with warranty.
Im pretty pissed I loved that bike but the wire that did short out its stripped all the plastic all the way down :n:

probably just needs a new plug, garages always like to make themselves more work.

Cant see how you lose a spark, and its effected by the flywheel? Think they're having you on mate.

No mate, I saw the wire that was completely destroyed and he said he wouldn't be willing to do the work so I think he was fairly honest. And i've tried a new plug dude
