Underseal

Just after some general advice regarding underseal of car, anyone done this share what they did? Prep work, what they used etc.

its been done to my corsa but before i got it so not much help.

any rust underneath the car will need rubbed back/sorted before its sealed though

All i do is pour some waxoyl into a jar (coffee jar etc) and get an old paintbrush, and just whack it on everything in site tbh (obviously not things like exhaust etc) and when it dries it will be sound.

done mine.. awesome stuff...

i cleaned like fook.. so it was back to factory standard... there was no rust but otherwise i would have sanded it down and then undersealed.. i got waxoil from hammerite which is black and painted it on

If youve gone right back to the metal Try www.frost.co.uk Look more specifically at POR rust preventative and chassis coat. Can then add underseal like waxoyl etc and paint over the top if necessary!

Ive used POR 15 for ages, Never seen any fail with the right prep work. Its Powdercoat in a Tin (Better infact)
