As the title says i need a guide on what the best way to go about cleaning cars at a high standard but quickly. Me and my mate are starting a business with car cleaning. Ive been looking and seen the Need for speed from dodo juice acts as wax and sealant?? or somthing like that. Then after would you need the red mist to spray ontop.... basiclly i would like a guide on cleaning your car to a proff. standard from like wayne or someone, im sure there is a guide on here somwhere. and also needing to find out what you nice saxp people would say the best way to go about getting a nice end result for customers with the easiest method, using the dodo range.
Thanks

going from the bold bit ive highlighted they are going to want to be valuators. Unfortunately there is no real way to get a high standard quickly. it takes alot of time and hard work. however, everyone has different standards so your customers might be happy with a wash and then some AG Super Resin OR they might want a full paint correction which is where the time factor comes into it.

I have to agree with what mark says, to get good standards you really arent gonna be able to do a quick job, imo your easily looking at a days work.
Something dodo juice always state on there waxes is the surface had to be fully prepared otherwise it is a waste of wax.
That therefore means it is a long process including these basics,
Wash,
Rinse,
Clay,
Polish,
Seal,
Wax.

Yeh i completely understand that but in a previous thread i was reading a post by you and it said, you can use lime primer then red mist to give a wax like finish. This is what i meant by quickly... If you see what i mean. Also thank you for that step by step process but would it be..
Wash, - any soap
Rinse, - Cold hose water
Clay, - ? would this be lime primer?
Polish, - Need for speed?
Seal, Red mist?
Wax.

Another question, the micro fibre towels are for removing the water after the was? Could you please reccomend or link to me and few good micro fibre towels and a list of any other essential drying clothes i would need. What would be the best clothes to apply wax?

Do you have much of an idea on valeting cars? You seem to be asking ALOT of questions for someone who wants to start their own business!

not really mate, but moneys money and i need it. I know how to clean the inside, mum makes me do it to her car ever since i was a nipper. Completly new to this whole wax stuff. There is so much to consider and tbh not really a 100% guide. dont worry im not just gonna go off and ruin some poor blokes jag. Im gonna leanr first. But everyone has to start somwhere. Just would like a guide to start to finish and also from finish to the next time you go to clean again. For example wax removes ect then what to do. i have a general idea about it all just need it set in stone.

You sound like you no nothing about detailing a car. I dont think it would be a good idea to start a buisness unless you know what you are doing. every car is different and there is so much to learn its not a over night thing. i would say get practice doing cars in your family and friends then if your are good then i would move on from there. there is no point in spending money if you not even sure what you are buying!
Get along to detailworld and read the tutorials and advice from people who know wht they are doing!

Thank you for that captin obvious. If you havent read im trying to find that out and im not starting a business untill i know. Im not a tard i can clean a car with shampoo. The business is Valet which also means cleaning the inside and out regardless of standard for the while i can just do a standard wash then when i learn i can do the wax and stuff. Thats why i need some guidance, not you telling how much of a bad idea it is and giving me advice i dont need. Thankss

Captain obvious :) how original mate
Think you will find that you say you and your mate ARE starting a cleaning business!!
Any ways read what I said I didn't say it was a bad idea i said get practice before you start a business. if you have other cars that you can show people you have done previously it will look much better and you will know which paint work is hard and which is soft.
Like i said detailing world is the place to go but like you said you don't need my advice so hey ho

we all have to start somewhere mate but i really think you need to learn the basics before you jump into trying to make money from it. Have a read of the stickys and other threads that have been posted and then come back and ask. http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127152
this will be your best option unless someone is prepared to make one MASSIVE post outlining everything you need and how you use them.
