your probably thinking of cdt hd's they are the dearer ones mate cl's have a pressed steel basket look on the net they are cheap now and sound very nice indeed

i just bought these and made pods for them. there are a really nice quality speaker and they look good. and you will go deaf before they distort if you set them up right =] always fun

well you know i think alpines mate but as your car is strongly on the jbl side you might want to keep it that way :)

i had a listen to the jbls that you linked to the other day and they sounded great. i am thinking of getting some for the bmw.

think its going to have to be the JBL's myself , i have a couple things jbl and the quality is great so yeh jbl's it is :D
