Hi, I a looking to do an appernticeship in september in motor vehicle body repair and just wondered if; a) there is anyone on here doing one, if so who with and b) anyone got anyideas where i should apply to.
I have applied for mot of the car manafacturers [sp] and a few others just looking for ideas, any help is better then non.
Also it needs to be in Yorkshire.

i am already at college i am in the second year of my course, and i have aleady applied for BMW too, thanks anyway mate:y:

well thats when the course starts at the college i have applied to plus i am finishing the course i am on first ;)

good luck to you mate. i left school earlier this year and been looking for an apprenticeship since may/june. already done 2 years at college on day release through school. had a few interviews which havent gone my way and had most garages/ dealerships replying back saying they arent taking on.

Must have applied for 9 apprenticeships and sent 30 CV's out to garages to help me get on a mechanics course at college, decided the college were total morons after ringing me a couple of times and asking me the same questions over and over again so now im just waiting on apprenticeships at the moment.

Too bad you're too far away from Crewe. Bentley do apprenticeship scheme's there.

im doing an apprenticeship with jaguar land rover, learning skilled trade and getting a degree all whilst getting paid a pretty good wage. what more could you want?

I did an apprenticeship when i was 17 filler will drive you mad in the end and the da noise goes to bed with you but good luck try all and i mean (ALL)local body shop's thats how i got mine only got 90 quid a week thoe :n:

i work at jaguar land rover with lew c has been great so far im personally doing CNC programming and operation which is great and the money is brilliant
