iphone ringtone

i read on the internet that you can do something on your itunes music library by only sampling i think it was less than 26 seconds (not sure on that) of any of your stored songs, you can put it into a folder and sent it back into your ringtone folder?
I have only got the standard ringtones that are crap and dont want to buy all my music again to have as ringtone unless i got no other option!

has anyone managed to do this?

i wish i new aswell !
i found some kind of instruction when searching on google, however when it comes to creating a folder and sending it back again i seem to get a bit confused !!!!!!!!!!!!

i will have another look into nowi know it can be done
