i'm not a trader!

I've looked at 3 cars one has been sold.

One was a bit crap and the other was a state.

Last time i posted a thread like this i got alot of help on prices!

Any more help would be great.

personally i think its a bit pricey, should be able to find the kinda spec for under 2k.

If everything is mint condition, interior clean + full service history I reckon a good 1.8k :y:

actually that might be a little optimistic.. fair price but will take ages for a buyer..

so what should i do phoned up the dealer and ask if they can do anything with the price or what ?

I've not been to see it yet so i'm not sure what it's like.

I say you should look around a bit more, trust me.

If they can go below 2k then it may be worth looking at but it'll still be quite pricey

Cleanzzy

everything in my area is about 2k or more >:(

I saw one for 1,800 but i think theres a few problems with it, i could haggle down on the price but i may need to spend a good bit on it ?

atleast with a garage i had a warrenty ?

spose so, if you got the dollar why not lol

saxoboy91

go see it and decide then when you know how good condition its in, then try haggle him, say you have got 1800 and youl take it there if he says no say you can do 1900 final offer an he will probz bring it down a bit if he wants the sale.

thats what id do anyway if i were you lol but i dont think i'd blow 2k+ on it tbh

it depends on the condition like everyones saying.

But hes just copied the stat list from a website, be careful of that. VTRs never had Electrically adjustable seats and that (if i remember right)

Cleanzzy

Alot of online sales say they do!

i went to a citroen garage and they said thats its a lie saxo's haven't have Electrically adjustable seats. . . false advertising ?

Phils_VTR

Isn't the 'electric' part where it remembers where it was?

what i mean is that when you recline the seat for someone to get into the back, when you lift the seat up again and slide it back its in the same place as before?

Cleanzzy

so is that what they mean by Electrically adjustable seats ?

isn't that just a locking mech?
my old car did that... and it was litterally base model

slightly annoyed that every other part of the uk seems to be able to get cars way cheaper than we can in devon/cornwall. don't forget that the price of used cars has gone up because of the scrappage thing from the government. i paid more than that for mine which is '52 plate but only had 23k on the clock with one previous owner
