Hi all :y:
I took my battery of the car, and only then I though oh damn the terminals are soooo dirty. I am not sure what to clean it with without making any damage.
Would wd40 and a tooth brush work ok? Give me some tips please :panic:
Thank you :)

Any degreaser really, but as said wd-40 will do the job really well as it cleans and protects.

just use some steel wool if you have some to clean the posts up then whack some white grease on them

Thanks for the quick reply guys, I dont have any degreaser :( So will have to use wd40, and its also safe to use wd40 on the battery itself?

i bought some heavy duty cleaning brushes from halfords. basically toothbruses with different thistles. using wd40 and the brushes bring them up a treat

Yeah I used little metal brush to clean the battery contacts and terminals.

Left side is cleaned and right side is not, not so worried about the battery being dirty itself as I will be getting new one soon.
