Saxo body kits?

a friend of mine has a saxo body kit for sale just front bumper, rear bumper and smoothed boot in blue. im not to keen on body kits what do you all think of them?
the only reason im considering is because the front bumper is more open and will increase airflow to my rad as it overheats on a hard drive plus it will show off my front mount intercooler alot better...
the colour is not a problem for now as the body work on my saxo is pretty bad! alot of dents and roof is fu**ek! it will be geting a full respray end of feb no matter what and all the dents out and skirts n that put back on properly but im still 50-50

Some subtle kits are ok but imo alot look terrible as they just dont fit correctly imo

yea i not its just a front and rear bumper with smoothed boot. i might se if i can try it on and see how it looks as it will still be a bit of a performance upgrade..

some imo look ok but the ones with the front bumper that looks like a snow plow are awful.

dimma kit is the only one that seems to look really well on a saxo. all the other stuff is F&F style and makes a saxo look like something its not i.e 300+ bhp and japanese (I been down the road myself when I did the saxolution project) NEVER AGAIN! lmao.

I miss the kitted days, at least then i could laugh at some of the utterly shocking carnations people came up with other than bright wheels and no seats :D

Some can still look good because they are different and looked after.

Delta kits look crap on any car imo.

I remeber a 205 down at pug performance and we all laughed.

Still its different, just some kits work alot better imo, the street specials was one of them.

lol mines only delta front bumper sypher skirts 106 flared arches and rear bumper i dunno what it is lol so its kinda mix/match

im only gonna keep the skyline for around 6/8 months anyways then im gonna trade it in @ keighley cars for a Evo 6 :D.

lol, ok.. i didnt want to go down the body kit route but the offer is next door and the airflow would be so much better... the whole car will be resprayed end of feb so it will all look fresh like new. think i might bolt it on 2moro ans see how it looks... if i do ill take a pic a see what yuo think.

the badge is coming off mate ;). its only on because the whole boot with the spoiler came from a GTR. much easier to just switch boots then remove two spoilers (off each boot) to just put one spoiler on!

once the liner is out of the bodyshop it wont have the GTR badge on anyways got the GTS badges coming from japan for the grill and the boot.
