ok so located the noise i've been asking about and it appears to be that my o/s arch cover is loose and rubbing on the wheel bearing cover, i've no spare grommets to pop it back in and it looks bent out compared to the n/s one, any repercussions from removing it altogether or is there a better way to solve? i'll go take a picture and upload it in a minute :)

if you remove it , under the bonnet and inside of the doors get all muddy.

my front liner was rubbing at one point on the tyre due to being loose. threw a hacksaw on it and only rubs on full lock now :)
not even 'slammed', only down 40mm on a 45 tyre so no idea why it rubbs

sorted it with a mixture of tips, cut some away and tied it up to the hose behind the hole :D
