air bag shouldn't be an issue!
nor any of the other stuff you say really,
do you have any warning lights on the dash?
do your lights still work? if they do it should be fine

Yeah thats what i thought mate
no there is no warning lights on the dash
all other things i.e exterior lights, wipers etc work so i didnt think it should be a problem.

if theres no air bag warning lights you have no problems
will fail though if youve left any un-used seat belts in

should go through fine, even if the airbag light was on on the dash, it wouldnt fail. They can only advise.

rule on seatbelts is
if there are seatbelts, but no seats - its a fail
if theres seats but no seatbelts - its a fail

as long as the sunroof isnt unsafe when welded up, you can remove any un-needed wiring, its fine to run the fan on a switch

rather than welding up the sunroof, just get a lightweight rallye one instead ;) mines only around 2.5-3kgs
weight save everywhere,
get very stiff dampers and springs
bigger torsion bars
bigger anti roll bar
light weight wheels
big brakes
cage
lightweight buckets and harnesses
have some fun
