Some people still to this day that there wasn't any proof of Citroen making 98bhp models but I myself beg to differ.

Just have it rolling roaded smileys/smiley16.gif

its probably the 90bhp, they put the last mk1 engines in the early mk2s. my mate had the unfortunates of finding that out.
if its a grey rocker cover its the 90bhp, if its silver its the 98bhp.simple. smileys/smiley5.gif

is that true damo?

as it states it in the citroen hand book does it?

and all the stats you see from mags all say the same

there is a clear difference between the 2 anyway

I was always under the impression they did produce a 98bhp model. Some people think otherwise. The Citroen technical brochure (March 2002) says the VTR's come with 100bhp. That is what I'm going to go buy. Some people have carried out very minor engine enhancing modifications and they are pushing out around 100bhp.

use the search button there are plenty of threds on this even with images i think....

mines a V reg mk2. cat under the car, with an exhaust & open filter it made 110bhp with 110lbs/ft... the starting bhp was never known tho...

do a search....

its highly unlikely you would be able to tell the difference between the two engines anyway
