hi guys i just went to lower the westcoast rear suspension, i have caked it all in wd40 and even heated it up and the torsion bar for the passenger side will not budge for shit.... i was hitting it hard with the hammer, bit of a silly question but is there anything else that you can suggest? Cheers Lee

Are citroen ones different to renault in the sense that you cant wind a bolt over a 30mm socket into the torsion bar then wind the torsion bar out?

I used a Copr like chizel sort of thing.. (soft metal basicly) and a Really BIG Hammer :P
It took us ages to do it btw!
But once it was out.. its gets a bit better :P

i tried that and ended up ripping the thread out of the torsion bar so not recommended!

If you searched, you'd see that a big hammer and a metal bar will shift a torsion bar out.
