Does this polisher have a 240v plug? Or do you need a transformer?
Cheers.

I bought one the other week............have you got experience with polishing as you can soon mess up with a rotary.

You bought the kestrel?
Nope have never used one, but i read the entire guide on using a rotary on the DW website. Just use the least abrasive pad/polish combo first, then work my way up to the specified correction? Why are they easier to mess up with? Something to do with the single orbit, so it's working the polish down quicker = more heat = burn the paint??

That's a good price. I was looking at this kit, before i decided i wanted a rotary rather than a DA. Im sure somebody could tempt me to lean towards the DA. You got no interest in that group buy though? Just yourself? lol.

Imo orbital is best for beginners as yes it is far easier to make a big mistake with rotary....burning paint etc etc etc.

But is there much difference in terms of correction and finishing on the two?
J222JRA

Paintwork correction is slower with a orbital machine yes, i also believe that the final finish with rotary is slightly better...however have you seen my progress thread showing the results i got with an orbital machine??
Also you have to be very careful using rotary on saxos as alot of the panels are plastic.......the heat the rotary produces can warp the plastic panels very easily.
I highly recommend you have a think before buying a rotary buddy....dont want you to damage your cars paintwork.

Cheers mate.
When you say slower.. Is it a ridiculous amount of time to do? I believe you have experience of using the both, so which one do you honestly recommend?
Is your avatar the work of a DA?
