Passenger Top Mount Squeaking

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the above?

I'm wondering what could be causing it and how it can be rectified.

Cheers mate, does the front suspension need to be removed to fit it, ot can the nuts on the topmount be undone, then just lower the strut out of the suspension turret (the front of the car would be jacked off the ground) and swap the mounts over?

i think you can just unbolt the mount and do it, you will have to support the engine though, i used the standard jack and a bit of wood to spread the weight a bit.

i think your gettings your wires crossed, he is talking about suspension not the engine

Its not for my car, its a VTS i'm looking at getting just pricing up how much it will cost for the little jobs it needs doing to it.

What price could you get topmounts for though?

Best i've seen is £40 a pair on ebay.
