If the currnet bid is 1 pound but i put a bid for 200 will it only show as 2 till someone out bids me?

If someone bids £201 pounds and you've bid £200, the bid will go up to £201.
Your max bid is never shown to others.
But if they bid say £10, it will goe up £1 or whatever
