my sidelights come on when i turn my cd player on also so does my dash lights any ideas why its doin my head it plus my subs only work when connected to my 6x9s help plz

Sounds like at back of your radio you have illumination wire that lights radio when lights are put on
also on the after market radio you have an amp feed blue wire sounds like this is connected to illumination wire from car so when you switch cd on it is backfeeding to lights

Check all connections and disconnect blue wire from radio and then test

the illumination wire is the orange 1 rite?? it doesnt have 1 lol and il give it a go mate any ideas on the subs only working wired up to the 6x9s??

i would take it all out and start again mate sounds daft but trust me it will sometimes help

what head unit have you got in ?
and is it on ISO plug like what was in the car
