Yes i regret selling my saxo if im honest.
Dont get we wrong...i love the golf but just cant really afford it financially (modding)
Driving the Golf sensibly with a stadard engine is like driving the vts like a knob when it was de-catted andinduction kit :( lmao
First of all is to do my homework on prices and shizz ;)

Buy a brand new car and it loses thousands before you even drive it. Cars are an expensive hobby no matter how you go about it. An although I have spent a lot on my saxo the cost is spread out
AndySAXO

Buying/modding cars is only the start ... its when you factor in fuel, servicing, insurance, tyres, tax, etc is starts to get funny. As such, I use a running cost calculator on Pistonheads for all my cars.
Since 2005 i have owned a clio 182, 206 hdi, 172 cup & a 328i Sport, covered 120k miles & spent just over £29,000 on running costs in 4 years.
That doesnt include the cost of buying them either FLOL ;)
