rear boot seal is leeking, but it does not look damaged. how easy is it to get a new one or would a bit of silicone do the job?
thanks

just go to a scrap yard and pull one off another saxo and refit it.
best to find out EXACTLY where its leaking from first though.

Could be coming in from rear side windows or prerhaps your boot lock needs adjusting to "pull" the boot lid a bit closer to the shell?

it collects in the dip just behind the seal and the boot floor is soaking

hmmm could you possibly get some pictures??
If i was you i would get someone to sit in the back, with all the boot lining stripped out and the plastic round the wiper motor etc off and you squirt a hose all over the boot and rear of the car untill you find where the water is coming from
tbh, that will be your best bet mate, then go from there...
