after the last 8 months....
new cluch and gearbox £500 fitted
coilpacks and spark plugs £90 fitted
sum part of front sus £20
power-steering pump £70 second hand fitted
battery £40
total £720!!!!
fort the wheel bearing has gone and just been told a bearing has gone in the rear axle and it wood be cheaper to replace the full axle!!!! smileys/smiley13.gif
anyone know of a saxo braking of north or west yorks?????

You got a pretty good deal on the power steering pump mine cost £300.

i'm the same mate
had new clutch
re-con'd gearbox
front drive shafts
new passenger side inner cv joint
also had drivers outer cv joint repacked with grease when the rubber split & fitted new sparks myself

yeah i know i could of got one from andy pages £200 but i found the 2nd hand one
and yeah its had alot i was thinking of selling up but i have done alot to it and the it this rate the car will be a different car very car like new!!!!

Bloody hell Marc, thats a lot! What mileage it done?
Touch wood...nothing has gone wrong apart from middle section of exhaust.

Unlucky, in the past 6 months ive had..
new gearbox
new clutch
new driveshaft
new rear shockers
new abs sensor
new power steering pipes
new centre section exhaust
tyres etc!
and mine has done 55k! /drives car off cliff

well in the last 6 month all i've broke was the clutch that cost me 90 quid bought and fitted
now the back axle has gone after 126k of loyal service and i'm changing the gearbox too all bought and fitted for under 500 quid smileys/happy.gif
