does anyones have the problem going from 2nd to 4th and it crunches wat does this mean or can u not do it in a saxo

Yeah, mine crunches as well. Find I have to build alot of revs to get to 4th without a crunch - which defeats the point in skipping gears :P

cheers mate just my wee bro does it to save fuel and i tried it and this crunch noise happened lol

3rd gears gone in my vtr so i have 2 go 2nd to 4th, as long as you get enough revs in 2nd you shud be able ok mate :y:

Sure he's no missing 4th and trying to put it into reverse? 2nd 4th and Reverse are V close

I did that after buying the car, was driving it home in the dark, knew I had 50/50 change of going into 5th of Reverse - made the wrong choice, horrible sound :( :P

Put it in neutral after 2nd will be fine

Your most proberly hitting reverse mate. They're very close together
I do it alot, sometimes it crunches sometimes it doesnt
