my fuel gauge indicates half full when the tank is empty.
i have had a look at the plug in the top of the fuel pump, pulled it, and the gauge drops to 0. so its not the gauge.
could someone have fitted the wrong pump and sender? has anyone else has this and fixed it?
is there any point to be removing the pump, and if so can i just pull it out from inside the car?
grr

Yeah its all in one just not sure if it will come out in a oner without dropping the tank.
had a look today but wasnt sure about playing with the fuel lines..

ive definately taken one out, but cant remember for the life of me if i did it from the top!! not much help i know!
The fuel lines shouldnt be a problem, just mark them up so you know which is feed and which is return

yes it will come out from on top, under a circular bung beneath the back seat
