hi, i have a pioneer rds mp3 head unit, nothing fancy.
i tuned it into all me favourite channels on the radio and normally that would be that.
radio 1 works perfect but on rock fm it will keep the preset for a max of 15 seconds before it randomly changes to a different radio station. it does this every time i put certain stations on, again 15 seconds later it changes the channel. wtf? it doesnt do it with all stations, some remain preset like i want.
ta is off.
is there any reason/ setting as to why its misbehaving like this?
cheers.:panic:

It sounds to me like you have a setting on called alternative frequency (AF) on, this when on a low power frequency will look for another station that is stronger. Have a look in the instruction book as you will have to get into the settings to change it. I have seen it loads of times, its a bit like the traffic interrupt setting.
