i asked if they sell boss kits for these, i got a email saying
Hi there,
We have a package for this costing £50 with postage included. The hub however, needs to be welded to the steering column as it is a quick release version.
Best regards.
unsure wat they mean tho, any help?

As far as I know, quick release is the mechanism which allows quick change of the steering wheels, its like a boss.
But 50 pounds for the kit....very cheap so you cant expect anything good?
just an opinion though:)

hmmm welded to the column???? i would of thought you would of just got a quick release boss which uses the torx bolt to hold the boss to the column then you just unclip the wheel from the boss...

As I seen on demon tweeks some quick release bosses have to be welded to the steering column, but they cost something like 350 pounds?
I would look into something better tbh, momo or OMP etc..

oOOPS ,SLIP OF THE KEYS HERE...WE MEANT WELD THE HEX PART TO THE STEERING COLUMN ....THE HUB SIMPLY MOUNTS AND DE-MOUNTS FROM THE HEX SLEEVE BY PUSHING THE QUICK RELEASE BUTTON ON THE SIDE OF THE HUB.
SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION.
THANKS ,
