i know this is a poxy question but i forgot which way you twist the standard saxo gearknob to get it off clockwise/anti....i dont want to break it incase i change my mind about the new 1.....

i just pulled mine off lol didnt turn it, pretty sure it was a standard gear knob too

they just pull off dont turn it as you will break the plastic on the gear stick under the knob :P

as above they just pull off. I cut mine off though as it was on so tightly lol.

Lol I broke my plastiv thing while removing it, so be carefull...

Put it in 4th so you're aiming away from the windscreen, close the sunroof blind so you have a little cushioning and then pull like a motherfucker. PULL! LOL

just get in the back seats and give the knob a good tug ... itll come off eventually lol

so basically get in the back and tug the knob till it comes off... without twatting myself in the face ......going to give it a go in the morning got the day off work.....

I pulled mine off, but the gaiter came off with it. How do i remove the knob from the gaiter, presuming just pull it off? I don't want to get a saw to it or anything, but i think its on damb tight.
