ok so my saxo has been sitting out side ma house for a couple weeks and today i went to start it up and take it to the grage to get some the problems fixed such as the body kit so i can get back out on the road with it

however when i went to start it up nothing happend, i didnt even make that sound when you normaly turn the ignition it was jusr dead silence

but i was thinking could it be the battery since is just been sitting there for so long doing nothing?

Sounds like the battery has gone flat mate, either put it on charge or jump start it off another car

Youll need to get a new battery. it wont work charging it, the eelectrics will work but it wont start

My battery worked fine after charging it for a day. Starts first time now :)
But you will be better to get a new one.

Really? Id say it would work charging it, enough to get it started, then when he drives it the alternator will be charging the battery.

Fair point, just that on a daily basis im pulling cars of a forecourt, that have probably been stood for 2/3weeks, battery off, charge them up, and never have a problem, only the odd one requires a battery.

OP says its been stood for a couple of weeks, so shouldnt be a problem

Leave it for a night and day then it will be enough. :) Or just leave it for the night and it should be enough to start it...
